Pobl Bach School Menus rotate on a four-weekly basis, with a different menu each week. You can find copies of all the dinner and tea menus via the links below.
The Pobl Bach ethos is that creating the building blocks of a diet based on fruits, vegetables, grains, and pulses will encourage children, from a young age, to choose those foods throughout their lives. People who maintain a healthy weight throughout life tend to stay healthier and live longer. It is never too early to adopt a healthy diet.
Starchy food is an important source of energy and B vitamins. Flour is fortified with iron and calcium too. Wholegrain varieties of bread and pasta are good sources of fibre, which is important for a healthy digestive system. Starchy foods help children feel full, so they are less likely to snack on foods high in fat, saturated fat, sugar, or salt.
